It wasn't supposed to happen like this.
I had other plans for today.
I was planning to make you a beautiful in-depth analysis of my evolving approach to nail care with quotes from players from Tarrega and Pujol to Miles Davis and everyone in between.
I still might.
Today, however, it just was not happening. I didn't want to waste all that hard work though so I played instead.
This piece, Roy Buchanan's heartbreaking and heartbroken The Messiah Will Come Again which featured on my debut album Vetiver and which, although it's a favourite during live performances for getting me where I need to be from an emotional point of view, I had never filmed.
Many people have asked me if I believe in the sentiment. I know I believe in every single note Roy played when he recorded this song.
That's enough for me.
I hope you enjoy it.
Until next time,
Stay Tuned
Michael
