When Rory Dowling of Taran Guitars (Scotland) got in touch to tell me about his gorgeous new parlour guitar The Meilein I paid attention - I mean, just look at that!

I've long loved Rory's immaculate work and I do like a nice bit of spruce and maple! This beautiful instrument more than lived up to expectations and I'm grateful to Rory for making the trip down from Scotland for me to film this showcase. 

Rory shares more about the story of the Taran Meilein Parlour model and the new Taran Origin Series - very sexy kit and I can't wait to see more examples of these wonderful guitars.
