Daniel Marcus Clark is a true gentleman troubadour. You may have seen him supporting Canadian jazz legend Diana Krall around the UK recently.
Daniel's new album 181 is a gorgeous collection of musical vignettes that involved writing a song every day for 181 days and then selecting his favourites. Daniel plays a 12 fret Stefan Sobell New World acoustic guitar making him immediately a man after my own heart.

He's also into vintage archtops which is awesome as you'll hear. It's the songs though - beautiful, honest, sparse arrangements and lyrics that stay with you. You can listen to 181 in its entirety right here.

It was a genuine pleasure to talk with Daniel and film performances of two of his new songs "B" and "Wayward Star" which are included in this interview. I really hope you enjoy the video I'll see you in the next one,
until then stay tuned
Michael
